For MembersHow APTA Home Health Is GovernedAPTA Home Health is governed by an elected board of directors, all of whom are available to discuss issues affecting the Association and the physical therapy profession. In addition to the Board of Directors, APTA Home Health members participate in committee and task force activities. The actions taken by the Board, committees and task forces are member-directed. The APTA Home Health President is responsible for governing and directing all Academy activities. The APTA Home Health Delegate participates in the House of Delegates, which is the highest decision-making body of the Association, and makes decisions on issues that frequently have far-reaching implications for the Association and the profession. APTA Home Health MembershipYou must be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to join APTA Home Health. All APTA and component memberships, including those for APTA Home Health, are processed and maintained by APTA, which updates components monthly regarding section and academy memberships. Please contact APTA directly to join APTA Home Health or to change your membership profile. Most of these activities can be conducted through APTA's website.
